RECIPE: Ribeye Fajitas
2 Ribeye steaks
1 medium onion, halved, then sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced in strips
1 T Garlic powder
1 T Onion powder
2 T Butter
1 T Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Pan-sear steaks until rare (you’ll do more cooking later so don’t overcook them) and then set aside to cool.
Heat butter and olive oil and then throw in the onions. Cook for about 5 minutes then throw in the bell pepper. Cook until onions are golden brown.
Slice the steaks into strips. Add meat to the pan along with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt & pepper. Do a quick stir fry with all ingredients for about 2-3 minutes. Careful not to overcook the beef.
Serve with low carb tortillas, salsa, guacamole and sour cream.
Garnish with chopped cilantro & lime wedges.
*Side Note: You can reduce the carbs by omitting the tortillas and serving with condiments and garnish only.
